Preference Centre

The Preference Centre section allows you to manage and configure preference centers for collecting user consents. Below is a guide to navigating and using this feature.

Accessing the Preference Centre

  1. Navigate to the Preference Centre section on the left sidebar.

  1. The main page displays a table summarizing existing preference centers with the following details:

    • Preference Centre Name: Example: Hubspot Preference Centre

    • Consent Categories: Example: 4

    • Associated Domains: Example: lightbeam.ai

    • Consents Logged: Example: 2

    • Date Updated On: Example: 14 Sep 2024, 02:46 PM

    • Regulation: Example: GDPR, CCPA

Creating a New Preference Centre

To create a new preference center:

  1. Click the Create New button in the top-right corner.

  2. You will be directed to the Create Preference Centre page.

1. General Settings

  • Name: Enter the name of the preference center.

  • Description: Provide a brief description of its purpose.

  • Regulations: Select the applicable regulatory frameworks:

    • GDPR

    • CCPA

    • PIPEDA

Associated Domains

Add the domains where this preference center will be active.

  • Tick the checkbox for Renew Consent Periodically if you want to automatically refresh user consents after a specified period.

  • Select Renewal Options

    • Choose between:

      • Force Opt-In: Require users to explicitly opt-in again.

      • Force Opt-Out: Treat all consents as expired until users opt-in again.

  • Set Renewal Frequency

    • Specify the renewal period by selecting the number of months, days, or years.

  • Notify Users

    • Optionally, send an email notification to all users about the consent renewal:

      • Tick the checkbox to enable the email notification.

      • Choose an email template to customize the notification content.

This feature helps maintain compliance with regulatory requirements by ensuring consent data remains up to date.
