Adding Safeguards

Safeguards refer to the measures and mechanisms implemented by organizations to ensure the protection of personal data and uphold individuals' privacy rights. These safeguards aim to mitigate the risks associated with the processing of personal data and enhance data security and confidentiality.

1. Click on the Safeguards icon as shown in Fig 27. This will open up a dialog box.

1. Add the required security measures as shown in Fig 28.

1. You can also create a new safeguard by typing it in the toolbar as shown in Fig 28.

2. Click on Next to proceed.
